Anna is technical specialist with KLS and a law student at the University of Houston. Prior to law school, she worked for the U.S. House of Representatives as a science policy researcher where she wrote about various policy concerns, including cybersecurity. In meeting with technology companies, Anna gained insight into the most prevalent issues they currently face and how they plan to advance their technologies in accordance. As a Senior Article Editor for the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy, she uses her educational background in the life sciences to continue her research, in addition to other IP-specific research. Anna’s legal coursework has an emphasis on patent law and intellectual property, and she looks forward to applying her collective experiences to her future work as a patent attorney.
